As a professional photographer, I've gotten some really awesome access by God's providence and the blessing of friends like Janis Tillerson. 

This was one of those epic experiences: getting to cover the Willie Nelson and Family benefit concert for West Texas on April 28th at the Backyard in Bee Cave Texas (see my images of the damage caused by the Fertilizer explosion and read the blog post). Goes to show the character of this living legend that while many people were looking the other way, Willie dove right in to do something meaningful and useful for the first responders and the families affected. 

So first the bragging, here I am hanging out on the tour bus with Janis and Billy (Willie's drummer).
