One of the best things about being a full service studio is the reveal of my clients' final printed art work. I love how these tanglible pieces create a sense of permanence and help shape identity. They're elegant, meaningful, narrative, and aesthetic and they immediately become a treasured part of the family because they say "This is Us". In an age where these self-assertions are so transient spending 20 minutes on a social media feed before being buried and forgotten, printed photographs find their place in our homes and office, to serve as reminders of God's blessings and motivators for why we do what we do and the value of the whom, which we do it all for.
I was so excited to deliver a stunning Kiranphotography album to Mindee and Davy recently, we had dinner together and just got to view their final album and relive some of their special day. They admitted that after their wedding life had gotten so hectic, so quickly, that they hadn't even thought back on it in the months since, and it was a great way to relive, revisit, and savour those precious feelings. A 50th birthday party, a senior year in high school, a wedding day, all go by so quickly; and that's why it's so important to invest in a professional photographer to capture those feelings and experiences. That is the power of printed photography, it's capable of transporting us back to re-feel those moments that mean the most to us as everyday life marches on.
In an era where so many photographers just shoot a barrage of pictures, it's great to be able to create meaningful, tangible artwork for my clients such as these signature Albums. They're perfect for a portrait session or special event, and after the food's been eaten, the music played, and the guests have all gone home, you'll have these moments of your life to re-live, and I'm blessed to be a part of telling that story.
