I met Kristin through the school where we teach and was blessed to work with her and her fiance, now husband, Nelson in telling the story of the transition into the next chapter of their relationship and the beginning of their family!
Jake and his mom Gisele joined me in Downtown Dallas for a chill senior portrait session in the Deep Ellum district a week ago, I'm really excited to share the images from his session and cheer him on as he pursues his studies at Baylor in Computer Engineering.
Last weekend I got to enjoy a crisp Fall Afternoon and do a senior portrait session with one of my former 7th grade English students, Quinn! Scary to think how many classes I've taught that have graduated, it seems like just yesterday he was heading into 8th grade! Now he's getting ready to head to college! This guy has a great heart and is a super hard worker.
We even got a cameo from a roving visitor during our session!
I had the pleasure of working with this beautiful young lady to create headshots for her acting resume as she prepares to apply to colleges in the coming year! Gabbie is a wonderful singer and very active in the worship ministry at our church Preston Trail in Frisco. I really enjoyed her spunkiness and energy.
I was blessed to return again this year to do an artist photoshoot for the BHmusic Studios Summer Camp in McKinney and cover the showcase performance in Frisco at the Pub.
My wonderful photo-assistant for the day: Madi D.!
I was honored once again to be able to capture the magic of the Contemporary Chorale, the Richardson based performance group that rehearses year round for its bi-annual shows. This was the first time I was able to work with them in the Eismann Center and see them perform with a full band.
This year's theme was "Magic to Do" and they performed pieces that focused on the magic inherent in the everyday.

Ashley and I go way back to the early club days at NTPC, and it was such an honor when she asked me to create bridal portraits for her. Ashley said she wanted something "different" for her portraits, and so the challenge was set to create blue hour and night-time bridal images. Of course, Ashley, a professional model turned AirForce mechanic and crew chief, was drop dead stunning in her dress, and we created some beautiful, dramatic, and "different" images.
It was so cool yesterday to see the ice bouncing along this fence post outside my house, a wonderful day to be inside learning with a cup of hot chocolate.
The Contemporary Chorale, a entertainment group based in Garland, rehearses and prepares yearround, but only performs publicly twice per year, so you know when they're performing it's going to be amazing. This December's concert did not disappoint! I created images for their fall performance last year, and I was very blessed to be hired back again to capture images of their final of 2 performances on December 14th at St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church in Richardson.

Don't miss their upcoming Spring semi-annual performance on May 31st, 2014 at the Eismann Center in Richardson.
