Stafford Family Portraits

Definitely one of the more unique spots I've photographed a family in, when Elizabeth and I were planning the session, she said, I'd love to do it in a hardware store, that's my dad's happy place. And sure enough, I got in touch with the fine folks at ACE Hardware in McKinney and they let us come in and do our session there!

I knew Elizabeth from my wonderful church, but it was the first time meeting her parents who were in town from Florida. I loved Charlotte (Mom's) sense of humour and Dave (Dad's) quiet easy going nature. They were a blast to work with: Charlotte and I commiserated over the woes of the public school teacher.

Normally I'd be kind of stressed out by random people walking around in my background or dogs wandering through the shot, but in tihs case I kinda felt like it was perfect!

Definitely a daddy's girl.

A coffee break in the middle of our session? Why not!?
